Amanda Hilsdon began the goal rush with a reverse stick shot, which Katt Mayer improved upon by converting a penalty corner. Bex Close scored twice in quick succession to seal a 4-0 win for Fareham, who are looking for promotion after last season’s third place finish. Trojans lost 4-2 to Eastbourne.
