Trojans and Winchester look set to be playing each other in a revamped South League Premier Division 1 next season.
While Trojans maintained their SPL2 promotion bid with a comfortable 4-0 win over Horsham, Winchester lost 3-2 at Banbury and look set to finish in the lower half of the table. Ben Hibberd and Kieran Molloy were on target for Winchester, while teenager Matty Bell, Paul Hilton, South African Sinoxolo Mbekeni, and Dave McNee guided Trojans to victory. Guildford, 12 points clear at the top, are almost home and dry as SPL2 champions after a 5-1 win over Eastbourne, in which Rowledge cricketer Sam Plater notched a hat-trick.
