3/22/2017 0 Comments TROJANS GIRLS PUSH FOR THIRD SPOTTrojans ladies are eyeing a final third place finish in the National Women’s League Western Conference after winning their last four games.
Their 2-1 win over relegated Bristol Firebrands enabled them to leap frog Olton & West Warwicks, who crashed 3-1 to Swansea, Trojans’ final opponents at Stoneham Lane on Saturday, 2pm. Heather Batten’s eighth minute goal gave Trojans a 1-0 interval lead, which Daisy Strange doubled after the break. Firebrands clawed one back from a penalty corner soon after, but Trojans held on to secure a fourth straight win.
