1/13/2018 0 Comments Southampton tuck into After EightsSouthampton ladies roared back into action after the Yuletide break with an unanswered eight-goal mauling of South Women's League Division 3B rivals Horsham.
They scored five times in a dazzling first 35 minutes as they moved into fourth place in the table. Lou Hopkins scored twice, with Ros Wellington, Nat Romain and Jen Wagstaff also hitting the target. Horsham had their opportunities too, but veteran Linda Dunham denied them any tangible rewards. Hopkins went on to score two more goals alongside a single strike from Wagstaff which set Southampton up for Saturday's Sportsd Centre derby with Fareham.
