3/16/2018 0 Comments Peter Symonds' go cup goal crazyWinchester teen Isaac Hocking led the way as Peter Symonds’ went on a goal spree, thrashing Yeovil’s Richard Huish 12-1 to clinch a place in the AOC Cup final and Lancing 7-1 in the England Schools’ Under-18 Boys’ Plate.
Hocking helped himself to eight of PSC’s 19 goals, with Tim Loescher and Kabir Sahota bagging hat-tricks and Jack England a brace in the 12-goal demolition of Richard Huish, which sets up a cup final showdown against Birmingham Met on May 2. Peter Symonds’ fell behind to a Lancing penalty corner in the England Schools’ Plate but, having got themselves back on level terms by half-time, ran amok in the second half, scoring six unanswered goals to run out 7-1 winners. Hocking (4), Loescher (2) and Tom Croft-Baker were on target. PSC host St John’s Leatherhead in round three at the Trojans Club on Tuesday, 4.30pm.
