Havant started well and could have been three goals in front after creating good goal scoring opportunities in the first 15 minutes. However, Polish striker Maciej Janiszewski (pictured by Neil Marshall) scored the only goal of the game with his seventh league goal in the first half. Both goal keepers were awarded the respective team man of the match ‘awards’ and produced some outstanding saves. Havant had to withstand some heavy pressure towards the end of the second half, but through Chris Bristow held out for the three points.
