Martin Gough hit Fareham’s winner six minutes from time after visiting Cheltenham had wiped out their hosts three-goal lead.
Fareham won the England Hockey West Conference thriller 4-3. Fareham appeared to be strolling it after strikes by Will Jones, James Seager and Jamie Rawlings gave them a 3-0 lead shortly after half-time, but Cheltenham scored three times in quick succession before Gough won it for Fareham. Havant grabbed a last minute Indy Laly winner over Isca at Exeter, while Trojans ladies celebrated a fifth straight win, beating Cannock 3-1 at Stoneham lane. Title favourites Stourport lost 2-0 at Swansea and Reading were held 1-1 by Gloucester City.
