10/11/2018 0 Comments Fareham must banish Team Bath hoodooPointless after two away games, Fareham must defeat a Team Bath Buccaneers side they’ve never previously beaten at Henry Cort on Sunday (1.30), if they are to haul themselves off the National League Western Conference basement.
Fareham lost their opener 5-2 at Oxford Hawks and were beaten 3-0 at Birmingham University last week – a trend they must reverse against the Bath students, who have drawn both their games. Scott Rawlings plays against his former Fareham team-mates. Havant are without the injured Charlie Stubbings for the tough trip to Cardiff & Met at Sophia Gardens, while Chichester go to Banbury Road to play Oxford Hawks, having thumped Isca 7-1 and let slip and 2-0 lead and lost 3-2 to surprise leaders Bristol University. Joint Premier South 1 leaders Winchester look to make it three wins in a row at lowly Tunbridge Wells, while Trojans, having beaten Eastbourne 4-1 and shared the spoils in a 3-3 thriller at Guildford, host Blackheath at Stoneham Lane, 1.30pm. Trojans ladies are ‘on court’ beforehand, looking to post their first points of the season against visiting Swansea City, noon.
