10/29/2017 0 Comments FAREHAM IN NINE-GOAL EXETER FESTFareham let slip a 3-1 interval lead and were beaten 5-4 by Exeter University in an England Hockey West Conference thriller.
The visitors shook off the effects of conceding a ninth minute goal to forge a 3-1 half-time lead, with Jamie Rawlings scoring either side of strikes by the Davey brothers, Chris and George. The Exeter students then scored three times in 13 second half minutes to take a 4-3 lead, which Luke Cornish then wiped out. Exeter hit a penalty corner winner five minutes from time. Havant, four goals down inside 20 minutes, went down 6-2 at champions Team Bath.
