Fareham hit back to draw Bath thriller

Picture
Three goals down, all to penalty corners, inside 23 minutes, Fareham staged a terrific comeback to draw 3-3 with Team Bath Buccaneers at Henry Cort and get their first National League Western Conference point on the board.
Prospects looked bleak after Fareham old boy Scott Rawlings rifled two of Bath's first three set pieces past New Zealander Tom Mallon and even worse when John Jackson made it 3-0 from their fourth.
But two goals either side of half-time by Niall Stott (right) set up a grandstand finish. Martin Gough (left) equalised but despite several close attempts Fareham were unable to snatch a winner.
Havant, who host Fareham next Saturday lunchtime, lost 4-0 at Cardiff & Met, while Chichester leaked three goals inside the opening 13 minutes at Oxford Hawks and lost 3-1. Alex Holton scored for the visitors at 2-1.
