12/1/2017 0 Comments Dan's Trojans' penalty corner manDan Ferrier converted a penalty corner on the hour-mark to give Trojans a welcome 2-1 win over Staines in an error strewn South Premier League Division 2 affair at Stoneham Lane.
Trojans had earlier seen a Ben Cole goal – a rebound from a Ben Frost shot – cancelled out by James Chapman, who converted a disputed penalty stroke equaliser for the visitors. Trojans squandered several chances before Ferrier got their winner – but had an escape in the final play when Staines hit Steve Cole’s crossbar.
