2/16/2020 0 Comments Alex brace climaxes Chi comeback![]() Talented teen Alex Pendle (above, pictured by Neil Marshall) scored twice as Chichester transformed a 3-1 deficit into a thrilling 4-3 victory over Spencer - a result which keeps the pressure firmly on Eastern Conference leaders Wapping. Chichester drew first blood in the seven-goal thriller when Alex Baxter struck in the seventh minute, but the lead was short lived with a Kyle Good equaliser almost straight from the restart. When Will Devitt and Neil Hamilton struck to extend Spencer's lead to 3-1, Chichester appeared in trouble, but Joe Bugden clawed one back before half-time. Pendle's second half goals - in the 38th (penalty corner) and 47th minutes - won it for Chichester, who must make full advantage of two home games this weekend v Old Loughtonians (Saturday) and Bedford (Sunday) to put the squeeze on Wapping.
